About Sasse Animal Clinic
Sasse Animal Clinic is proud to serve the Gordon, Chadron, Alliance, Martin SD, and Pine Ridge, SD areas for everything pet-related. Our veterinary clinic and animal hospital are run by Dr. Jim Sasse, who is a licensed, experienced Gordon veterinarian.

Dr. Jim Sasse
Veterinarian
Dr. Jim Sasse has been the owner of Sasse Animal Clinic since 1995. He graduated from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1993. Being born and raised in a ranch family, he has been around animals his whole life. He feels very privileged to serve the community for so many years. He enjoys traveling with his wife, Amber, and visiting his 3 daughters (all grown). He has 2 sheepdogs (Angus and Amos) and a cat (Ms. Puss).
Emma
Veterinary Assistant
Emma has been a veterinary assistant with Sasse Animal Clinic since the summer of 2014. She was raised in Gordon for most of her life. She is from a ranch family so animals have been a part of life since day one. She enjoys working with any kind of animal. Her fun, uplifting personality makes her easy to speak to and she is always willing to help. She enjoys swimming, camping, and spending time with her friends. She owns a dog (Bentley) and 2 cats (Karma and Cardi).
Rhett
Veterinary Assistant
Rhett is Sasse Animal Clinic’s newest veterinary assistant. He has been with us since October of 2018. Rhett was born and raised in Gordon and attended Casper College for 2 years. He was raised on his parent’s ranch and has had a lifelong love of animals. His easy-going personality resonates well with our clients and their pets. He enjoys hunting, fishing, kayaking, and archery. He has a dog (Mitsy) and 2 cats (Frank and Bill).
